Hummer Turfgrass Systems was selected to renovate the Wells-Davidson Pitch and increase its size to 120 yards by 75 yards which was made possible by the removal of an existing running track.

Hummer Turfgrass Systems stripped the existing sod, tilled the soil, graded to provide positive drainage, installed an irrigation system and the Sand Grid Drainage System.
Gilman School
The renovated surface features a new two-wire irrigation system, Sand Grid Drainage System and HGT Bluegrass sod. The nearly flat playing surface was constructed for lacrosse and soccer use.
